Starting a new account1. When you log on, you will recieve a starter. The starter will provide you what you need for Melee, Ranging, and Magic. The starter will also give you a little boost for money. I will get to how you can spend it in the next section.
2(1/2). Now, unless you're a skiller, you'll want to start your training. NOTE: Only for those who decide at ::lowtrain (hill giants) --->. I don't recommend starting at Hill Giants, they can hit about an 8 out of your starting 10 Hitpoints. Go to the bank, it will be next to you when you spawn. Exchange the noted lobsters you get from your starter for un-noted. Then type in the command '::lowtrain'. That will direct you to the hill giants. At the hill giants they drop rune combat items, clue scrolls (medium), and some rune arrows (x150).
2(2/2). For those of you who do not wish to have to eat while during combat, I suggest you start out at Rock Crabs. Rock craps will not hit you, and they have a sustainable ammount of health. To get there go to your spellbook, for normal (which you should have) it will be the Varrock teleport.
How To Make & Spend Money1. Skiller or not, you will want to make some money. NOTE: This is an optional way of making money (the way I did it). While being at Hill Giants, they tend to drop Clue Scrolls. Clue scrolls are not very rare, but their rewards can be worth it at times.
2. NOTE: You don't have to use a shovel to do these clues.
3. When you do your clues, you have a chance that you may not get anything. Usually your rewads can be 200k(200,000gp)-1m(1,000,000gp). While some can be complete duds. When you complete your scrolls (i'm not going to tell you the spots :p), you can sell them at the Shop Assistant near the altar at home.

Thriving in the FBS Community1. Thriving is all about being able to make easy money, and being a very skilled player. There isn't much to this section other than ways on how you could thrive.
2. Skilling is a good way to thrive. The more 99 Skills you have, the more you are accomplished. Some skills will offer you money, and some will take your money. Slayer is a good skill to look in to if you can handle the tasks. It can train your combat, while you level your Slayer Skill.
3. Some skills won't give you but a very poor income. Hunter is one of those skills. The highest skilled thing you can hunt is a Dragon Impling(requires 90 Hunter). A Dragon Impling is worth 50 Coins. NOTE: THIS ALL MAY CHANGE IN THE NEAR FUTURE, SO IF YOU COME LATER ON, AND THIS IS WRONG, PLEASE DO NOT FLAME AT ME.
4. PKing is a good way to thrive. PKing can level up your stats, while (if you're able to) making money by killing other people.
